Porsche Earns Top Dependability Marks

More often than not, at the end of a competition, the person with the highest score wins. It just makes sense, right? You want the highest number of shots at the goal, the most home runs, and you absolutely want to knock over more pins than any other bowler in your lane. But, there are a few places where lower is better: golf is one, and vehicle dependability is another.
How? Well, every year, J.D. Power and Associates releases their Vehicle Dependability Study, which looks at the number of complaints per 100 vehicles sold for each major automotive brand. The lower the number, the better better vehicle.
This year, the average dependability score was 132 problems per 100 vehicles. Since last year, the average has improved by 13 percent, with 25 of the 32 manufacturers moving up in dependability ratings. So, where did Porsche land on the list? They came in second place with an impressive score of 98.
And that's not just for one car. The score accounts for problems reported for every vehicle in the lineup. That is to say, that it doesn't matter if you drive a 911, or a Panamera, you'll get dependability that matches the styling, handling, and top-of-the-line driving capabilities of Porsche.
There's only one way to really know why Porsche continues to land at the top of the heap: drive one. Contact Bert Smith Porsche via our website to arrange a test drive.
