Porsche and the All-New 911 Carrera Cabriolet

It may have been out-of-season up in Michigan, but down here in St. Petersburg, we're more than ready for a warm drive with the top down. Especially if we're driving the all new Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, which made its official debut at the North American International Auto Show in January in Detroit.

It's as sleek as ever, and Porsche added a lightweight hardtop for 2013. Not only is it durable enough to be lowered at speeds of up to 31 mph, the German automaker added a powerful wind deflector to make your top-down driving experience that much more enjoyable. Plus, for the first time ever, the Carrera Cabriolet maintains the iconic Carrera roofline, so it's even harder to distinguish the drop top model from the Coupe.

How about that engine? A 3.4-liter boxer engine that pumps out 350 horsepower powers the 911 Carrera Cabriolet, allowing it to hit the 62 mph mark in just 5 seconds. tThe 911 Carrera S Cabriolet packs a 3.8-liter engine capable of up to 400 horsepower. 0-62 sprint time? A breathtaking 4.7 seconds. Both are available with performance packages that will turn up the heat just a little bit more, cutting the sprint time down to only 4.3 seconds with the PDK Sport Chrono package on the Carrera S.

It's nothing short of everything you expect from Porsche. Stop in and see us here at Bert Smith Porsche, 3800 34th St North St Petersburg, FL 33714 to try one for yourself.
