The next-gen Cayman has been spotted being tested overseas. And, from what we hear, this vehicle is set to impress everyone all over again!
Specifically, the test model Porsche Cayman was seen running some practice laps around the famous Nürburgring test track recently. Reports claim that the engines incredible rev could be heard for blocks away.
According to The Motor Authority, the Cayman is "only due for some minor styling revisions, but under the skin things will be revamped completely."1
"One of the biggest changes for the Boxster and Cayman will be the introduction of turbocharged four-cylinder engines in place of the naturally aspirated six-cylinder units found in the outgoing models. Nevertheless, peak output from the smaller engines should match the horsepower figures of the ones they replace."2
While we wait for more details on the 2013 Cayman, we ask that you stay tuned. Hopefully more details will arrive sooner rather than later.
